I dropped a few hints about the new 2007 Base Model Modular Computer System on our radio show Saturday, but for those of you who missed the show, the system in all of its glory is up for public view on our Computer Sale website.
This new section of our website was developed to accommodate the 2006 Holiday Special, but will be used throughout 2007 as a center where you can easily find information about our latest computer specials, or customize a computer to meet your own needs.
At the beginning of each year we build a “base model” system that consists of the features we believe are vital to any new computer purchase. Of course, any included feature we recommend can be removed if unneeded and any needed feature can be added. The base model system gives us a great place to start building a Modular PC that meets your needs today while providing the expandability required to meet your future needs.
Take a look and let us know what you think. The biggest changes this year is the addition of 1 GB of memory (required to enjoy Windows Vista properly) and the addition of a dual core processor. While the base model’s hard drive is slightly larger than last year, there are only one of them. You can add RAID data protection for an additional charge, which we recommend. The removal of the second hard drive was necessary to maintain an $899.99 price point.
