New Compute This Radio Show Posted

The latest installment of Compute This has been posted on the Schrock Innovations Radio Page for your listening pleasure. During the show a caller asked how to change her associations so that her jpg images would always open with a particular program. I started to walk her though the process, but it soon because apparent that we were having difficulty getting things figured out.

At that moment I decided that I would connect to her computer live on the radio, and make the adjustment for her. It took about 2 minutes, (and it wasn’t the most exciting radio ever recorded) but our Schrock Desk remote access software allowed us to connect, take control of her computer and get things straightened out.

Schrock Desk will soon be available by subscription to Schrock Innovations customers. Schrock Desk is not a technical support service – we won’t be fixing corrupted Windows problems or setting troubleshooting email accounts with it. It’s a help desk service to help users with every day productivity issues like mail merging, photo printing, system tweaking, and the like.
