We are still getting settled into our new computer repair service center, but we allowed a camera crew to come in and do a little filming for a commercial we are running to promote our new location.

On Sunday a new Schrock Innovations commercial started airing on Channel 10/11 in Lincoln, NE. The commercial is intended to highlight all of the things people use their computers for, and to make them think about the company they choose to maintain those computers.

It was surreal to walk through the door and see the design I drew on paper come to life in terms of drywall and studs.

We maintained our advertisement in the web design section of the phone book, maintained our advertisement in the computer repair section, and added a small top-of-mind awareness ad on the cover of the smaller companion phone book.

We are launching a couple new commercials to promote Schrock Innovations computer repair and support services in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Schrock Innovations is on the verge of launching a new website that will feature several style and functionality updates intended to usher in a new business model.

About a week or so ago I was interviewed for a podcast that is currently up on Podnutz.com. The interview was originally supposed to be about techie computer stuff, but it kind of morphed into an interview about starting a business and learning your marketplace.

When I first started this blog I promised that readers would get a glimpse behind the scenes at Schrock, and maybe even a heads up to things that were in the works before they were “officially” announced. We have 4 major announcements lined up that will be released at various times between now and February 2007.

Some of these will be more impressive than others, but I can assure you that many of these announcements will further entrench Schrock Innovations as Lincoln’s #1 Independent Computer repair company (as voted in the 2006 KFOR Best of Lincoln) and will further elevate our standing in the community as corporate leaders and industry experts.
